New place, new experience

It was so good to see my sister Barbara this afternoon & this evening. She was in the midst of moving the office for 11 docs & still took time to show me their new digs & introduce me to her coworkers. It was very affirming to do that.
We rode the scooter to Chili's & talked a lot, as is usual. Sister Barbara is one of the best people I've ever known, and so is daughter Barbara. The later is named for the former. Both are so healthy in mind, body, spirit and whatever else there is to be happy in. My respect for these 2 women is about as good as it get for people I know personally & have some connection with. I always feel good in their presence. They are interested in other people & care about them. They are curious & ask a lot of questions. They listen carefully & respond appropriately.
Karaoke at the pool side bar here was great fun. Splish Splash was my favorite. I remember when mom worked at an outdoor skating rink in Miami & I skated every night she worked, which was pretty often. Splish, Splash was one of the songs they played a lot & that I danced to on skates of course. It was so much fun! I sang along & had a very large time!
Seems like I'm taking a walk down memory lane & that's a good thing. It puts current events in a good perspective & helps me understand them better. .
